Chequers Park is a property built in the early 1970s that the clients sought to
extend to improve the kitchen and dining areas, to add a utility room and media
suite with a garage linked to the east elevation.
The scheme that obtained planning approval provided all
of the clients requirements.
The rear of the house was extended to provide the utility
room and dining area that was conceived as a light space that can open out
directly to the garden with a retractable glass screen.
The kitchen has been reorganised at the existing floor
level to address the dining area and the existing garage has been converted
to the media suite.
