The proposal is to construct a modest highly sustainable retirement cottage
which is a property within the curtilage of the client’s current house. The
proposed 2 bedroom dwelling will replace their existing garage and office garden
room.
The Clients would like to remain in Herne Bay
and like many informed house owners are keen that they manage their carbon
footprint and develop a household with a minimal environmental impact, low
energy consumption, high insulation levels and low maintenance.
The proposed dwelling will be constructed off-site as a timber frame and
will be installed over a series of timber beams linked together.
