A planning application has been made for the refurbishment of the Red House
Farm Courtyard and to replace the adjacent gathering of mobile homes with a
sustainable village.
A historical reference point has been taken for the
design of the courtyard to create a number of dwellings in a courtyard style
from the remains of the existing out buildings.
The conversion/creation of the courtyard dwellings will return the previous
layout of the farmyard and will allow funding to be generated to complete
the refurbishment of the site specifically the creation of the sustainable
village which will comprise of cabins based around a central hub which are
intended for holiday letting.
